Chapter 1 <Humble Beginnings>
“I’ll start with a piece of a quote. Which comes from a very specific (and peak) movie. Which I have as part of my philosophy.
‘If you want to make a change in the world. Take a look at yourself, and make a change’
Of course, the other part of my philosophy is simple, and I won’t back down from it.
It’s a kill or be killed world.”
The Commonswealth did not rise to power in a single day. In fact, Cinema never planned to create an Empire as big as he did. He never planned to change the balance of power and tear the server apart, to show people's true colors. He never planned to start massive battles and start wars, but he did.
It all began in early June, Cinema was scrolling on YouTube, attempting to find the next video to watch. That’s when he found it, an advertisement for a civilization event.
“It's probably for java” Cinema thought.
But he was wrong. The server was a Bedrock only server; Cinema was intrigued. He looked deeper. Unlike Ish’s big events, this event was a non-scripted event. Cinema wanted to make a nation of his own.
Cinema joined the discord server; he saw other members planning out their nations, claiming land, and already starting alliances and conflicts. He had to get to work, and fast if he wanted any chance to create a nation. A nation that people would remember.
“We started a nation that was named out of a nation from my animated series. The Realm of Shadow.”
He claimed an area of land on the top right corner of the map called the spine. The nation was called ‘The Realm of Shadow’. Cinema invited some friends to help him with his newly found nation.
Cinema began to set up his government. The way his government functioned is as follows:
There is a King (Cinema) and a “Co-King” *
They then bring their decisions to the Parliament, and then final solution is law.
(The military also had a say in Parliament, but Cinema mostly ignored it)

*The Co-King system was not implemented until the formation of the Commonswealth major body
